I am looking for the burial place of my ggg Grandparents George and Mary Merrifield(nee Jeffery) I have their death certificates but on searching the South Huish burial registers cannot find an entry. George Merrifield died 18 August 1866, aged 73 yrs at Galmpton, and his wife Mary died 27 Nov 1886 age 90 yrs. She had been living in a Galmpton Cottage near Elliots farm (1881 census) but her death address was given as Hope Malborough. Can anyone help as to where i might look for these burials. I have tried FMP, Ancestry, FamilySearch and Devon FHS member's area. I am descended fron their son William Henry Merrifield who was buried in Holy Trinity Church 1933. I live in Australia so unable to visit.
