Thank you for that further information, David, particularly regarding Devon Archives. I had a very helpful reply from the Special Collections archivist for St Lukes. She pointed to a couple of very specific possibilities, but in a more general way indicated that cataloguing of material is still fairly limited and nothing online. So she suggested a site visit if I wanted to look into things further. Which is fair enough and I shall have to plan that.
