Wow! what a history!! I have been playing around and may have found another marriage!! Gladys Marie Clark married 1953 Kensington regn area to a Bourret, possible first name Camille? Gladys Marie Bourret on 1939 census in Brighton, no details available, born 30th June 1908, registered Fulham Sept qtr, (covers July Aug Sept), and died in 1982 Fulham regn area.
So did he come back to London, marry her, then do a bunk a year later? sounds as if he could!
