Thank you for your reply unfortunately, this is information I already have and this is what is confusing me. How can he be buried in two places? The Rackenford microfilm says he is buried there but your booklet of Puddington burials (which I purchased sometime ago) and the National Burial Index, record him as buried in Puddington?!

Regarding his marriage, according to the entry in Rackenford Parish (microfilm), it doesn't say his occupation it just states that they where of that parish married in that church by banns. All the Heywoods were Farmers so I am guessing he was too. He was 31 when he married and died less than 4 years later and 35 years old is no age but must have died of something. I have a copy of his will which is rather bizarre to say the least as it doesn't mention his wife (I cannot find a death or remarriage for her either). As I mentioned before, in his will he only mentions his children as if he is talking about someone else's - instead of my two children it is written Nathaniel Heywood's two children of Rackenford??
