I double checked and there were 3 children, 1 boy, I think Josiah, and 2 girls,one aged 3, and one 8 months who is registered Stoke Damerel. Jane Elizabeth Turley reg March qtr Stoke Damerel. If you get the certificate it will give you an address to work from, perhaps look up on the 1841 census to see if any relatives still there.
The sailed on the /duke of Roxborough on 5th October 1839. another name on the paperwork in the column marked recommended by, was James Furneaux, and in brackets something which looks like Swilley?
