Another try (to previous atttempts on the Board)but on a slightly different tack.

Elizabeth Ann, daughter of Richard Murrin, was born 4th July 1858 at Stowford Mill, Stowford. Mother was Mary (formerly Gloyn(e).

Her Birth Certificate shows the surname as Murren.

By 1911 Richard (then shown as Murrain) is living in Tavistock with daughter, Annie Bentley (a widow who had had 2 children, but then both deceased).

In the 1939 Register she is shown as Elizabeth A. Bentley living at Drill Hall Cottage, Tavistock with an Elsie I. Bradley (who I have proved was the wife of Cyril Francis Bradley - who, as a child, happened to be living with Richard and Annie in 1911 and I know who his parents were).

I have 2 puzzles. First who did Elizabeth marry to change her surname to Bentley (cannot find a specific marriage so she may have been previously married, and married again to become a Bentley using a different surname). Secondly, when and where did Elizabeth die, clearly she was still living in 1939).

Any clues or ideas would be welcome
