The link works for me. Shows his number as 201183, so it's the chap I found. The document is for the award of medals and I think it just happens to be signed by someone in Exeter, rather than being evidence of disembarkation there.

I think George disembarked in Iraq, was killed there and is buried in the cemetery there (as per the the CWGC website).
