Any clues please for marriage of John Powel to a Joan, circa 1720's. son Edmund born 1725, baptised Edmund Powell Powel at Lydford. have looked on find my past devon marriage, no luck, also lydford, the same. Other children born not given the extra middle name, so am wondering if it was a clerical error.
