If you search on Findmypast, it brings up the entry I mentioned earlier - the one line crossed out.
However, I used the 'browse' facility, and it brings up a different entry.They did indeed marry on 1st July 1754.
The witnesses were William Boundy and Simon Haywood (possibly Heywood).
William Boundy is also witness to 2 other marriages on the same page, so he might have been parish clerk or some other official position.
The marital status of the bride and groom is not shown, but there is someone shown as 'widower' on the same page, so presumably Elizabeth was a spinster. Both are shown as 'of this parish'.
