yesterday got in garden and pulled all the turnips. i planted in the fall. some are soft ball size. i am going to make kraut out of them. tastes just like cabbage .
going to give daughter the whoppers. you have to grade them and big is hard to hold.

the greens are in a pot on stove with ham hock and sweet potato also from garden. will add corn on cob to it. will make salad and tea. yesterday i made a pie. so that will be lunch

talk of town the snow in parts of town. did not happen here but close. we seldom have snow. we got rain. may have been sleet
