48 right now. slight mist. but will go upper 60s today.  love it. cold right now. just got done feeding critters. do not know where my birds have gone but not out there. a few ring neck doves i see now and then.

its letter writing morn. got 4 yesterday with cards. guess this is the last day i will send out cards. know they will get there after christmas but they are going with letters. 

going to cut up oranges for ambrosia today. this is dessert for christmas meal. they will all be here again. family only comes here 2 times a year. Ambrosia is better if it sits in fridge few days.

dug more weeds yesterday for chickens. i dig in shop yard that yard is full of holes now from weeks of digging. had lots of cow weeds.never knew the name of them until  i posted a picture on gardening center and they said i should leave for critters that need weeds.. well i know i will never get all of them.
