IMO Hartfield should be in the top ten before PCS at this point

That's prob not a bad idea...but Would Hartfield beat a healthy PC? Don't think so. Interesting Hartfield vs Tri. Hart will be a heavy fav, but interesting to see where both teams are.

But PCS is not healthy therefore not a top 10 - not to mention they've won all five of the games they're going to this year.

Mojo, so let me get this straight: you agree with Lucky.

Lucky, ok you think Hartfield is number ten. You've obviously got an axe to grind with PC; that's fine. For a team that wasn't supposed to win more than a game, winning five should assure the coach Coach of the Year, right? For the record, Ive never met anyone on that team or staff; my sons don't play for them. Hartfield has a strong case for number ten; then again so does PCS. Who'd win? If rb is healthy this week and game is neutral site, id take pcs.

No axes to grind about PCS (but they have been overrated all season). Can't compete in big games. 2nd tier team no doubt, like Parklane and Lamar - but at this point they had to bring 9th graders up to field a team, apparently, and they are not currently a top 10 in the MAIS.

and with regard to "coach of the year", neh. Maybe 2nd string recruiter of the off-season. A good coach builds his team from within, not with hired guns.

All true... that said, it is the CSA top ten. How about the Lucky top ten. Hartfield is good, I recognized them earlier in the year on this site. Perhaps they're tenth. Of course, I never recognized Indianola in my top ten...lol

A healthy PCS would beat Hartfield any day of the week.The end. Lucky, your just telling lies. You don’t like PCS. Most people thought we would still suck even with recruits. Didn’t happen. I’m proud of our coaches,players, and everyone who is taking part in the rebuilding of our program. I guess there’s a lot of average coaches in the MAIS because almost all recruit. Our coach came into a bad situation and I’m glad to have him. His players love him and his assistants and it’s family. He’s doing it the right way. We prolly aren’t getting in the playoffs but I wish we would get another shot at OFA. Marquis Crosby (167 yards in a quarter and half) was lighting their world up until he got hurt before halftime and we had at least 3 turnovers I know off. We got robbed at Simpson. Those are cheaters up that way. OFA beat us fair and square but Simpson and those refs. That’s some dirty crap. Awful.

Lucky, I love the sarcasm. So refreshing on this rainy Friday morning. It’s not 5-6 just yet. Yes, there is a 95% chance we lose to both but it’s not a sure thing. Hope you have to eat that SA comment.

That's the other left out team I couldn't think of - imo at this point both ACCS and Hartfield might be worthy of higher esteem than a 5-4 also-ran team that got a post-season ban for intentionally violating league policy.

ACCS lost in the reg season to both St Al and Silliman. At least on the top side of the bracket they'd have been pretty much assured of one win in the playoffs - in the bottom half they MIGHT get to the second round.

There would be no tangible advantage to taking a dive against CHA - not to mention doing so would make a lot of folks question the coach's character... not something a coach ever wants.
