1. Presby @ Lamar. The Raiders are good and a top 5 team! PCS is coming off a 1 win season but has added players! Hoping PCs new rb is healthy. Regardless, take the raiders!
2. ACCS @ Columbia The rebels coming off a big win over Oak forest, but will probably give up some points this week after shuting out the jackets. Still, think King & co will win on the road. Although CA will perform better than the jackets offensively. Rebels on the road.
3.Coldwater @ St Joe. The Lucky special of the week. Coldwater is not good, but they're a public school. Two Elite Ten players on one team is crazy. Take The Irish @ home.
4. Simpson @ Prep Simpson beat Columbia in a close game last week while Prep lost (I called it, thank you) to Heritage. Prep gets the dub at home.
5. Silliman @ Parklane Last & least, Take Parklane @ home over the institute. Wildcats have an excellent RB, but think Parklane will win in McComb.
Jury's still out on PCS, but this game may set the mark.
ACCS/CA should be a good game to watch.
SJ will score as much as they want on Coldwater.
Prep, unless they are unexpectedly down, will win.
Parklane has the Clydesdales up front. Two different approaches to the game. If Parklane controls the clock, as I think they will, they'll come out with the win.
I got.... Lamar School ACCS (May have the best defense in 5A. A lot of praise on that unit in the off season then turn around and completely shut Oak Forest down.) Greenville St. Joe big very big Prep big Parklane pulls away late big.
Another game to keep an eye on is Pillow/Indianola. Indianola has had their number for awhile now but I see Pillow pulling this one out. Should be a good one.
