Valley Forge Academy was a member of LISA (Louisiana Independent Schools Association) and never a member of MPSA.
American Academy changed to Mount Pleasant which is currently Ben's Ford Christian School in Bogalusa, LA. American Academy and Mount Pleasant both played in LISA while Ben's Ford is a member of MAIS.
If a school like Valley Forge qualifies for the list, you can also include Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge) and Riverside Academy (Laplace, LA). Both schools played in LISA before joining the LHSAA. Neither were members of MPSA.
Southwood Academy (Hammond, LA) and Natalbany Baptist (Natalbany, LA) are both like Valley Forge Academy members of LISA and closed before becoming members of MPSA.
Also, I don't think Walthall Academy (Tylertown, MS) was ever a member of MPSA.

Had erroneous info on Valley Forge, then. Someone a few years ago had told me they were MPSA right before they closed, for a year or so. I'd never even heard of Valley Forge, so I'm going off hearsay 100%.
There's plenty of info on LISA and readily available. I'm just trying to build/maintain a history of MPSA/MAIS, for which there appears to be nothing.

Tha's my fault. They didn't reopen on LC's campus, they just played football on LC's field. Like the article says, they're actually on LSUA's campus.

According to this article, it appears there was a merger of sorts.

The article was wrong. CENLA Christian belongs to Trinity Baptist Church in Pineville. It was looking to reopen as a Junior High 6-8 grades, but there was not enough interest. University Academy was opened in the campus of LSUA with an entirely different staff and LLC. UA purchased all of the sports equipment from the old CCA.

Was American Academy MPSA or LISA? I have info on MS and AL (AISA) but haven't compiled any info on LISA schools.
