1)Effective Litters born September 1, 2019 and after, all sites used to register litters MUST have a documented stress test on them and submitted to the CPS office.
2) Effective litters born September 1, 2019 and after, all breeding animals and potential breeding animals must have a minimum 6-6 tears on each side. Barrows may be excluded from this rule.
This is a change in policy.
3)Effective litters born September 1, 2019 and after, sites that are stress negative by mating(documented by pedigree ) are required to be tested with results submitted to CPS office. ****there have been several instances in recent years where this documentation on pedigree have resulted in a non-negative animal.****
4)If you own a boar that is documented negative by mating, you inform the CPS staff of this individuals registration number, and the Spotted Association will pay for this test.
There are several more rules clarifications that will be forwarded to you when time permits.
