Hereford weanling pigs at Duncan
Posted by jack Wall on November 9, 2016, 11:36 am
It was brought to my attention yesterday that Hereford pedigrees are no longer being processed in Aledo, Illinois. The CPS new pedigree and accounting system is unfortunately not ready to process litters of any breeds either. For you breeders that are desiring to exhibit Hereford weanling pigs at the 2016 Fall Classic, the staff of the National Swine Registry has graciously granted permission to allow Hereford weanling pigs to be consigned and sold at Duncan this next week without registration papers. I caution each of you however, you will be required to register and transfer each of your Hereford prospects you sell at Duncan when the pedigree system is finished. It will be my responsibility to insure that each buyer of these Hereford prospects to receive a proper documented and official pedigree processed by the Hereford office. Please understand that this process will be strictly enforced by the CPS staff once the pedigree system is operational. Thanks again to the NSR crew for granting this one time waiver and good luck with your Hereford experience at Duncan. If you have questions on this subject, please give me a call at 309-691-0151. Sincerely, Jack WAll/ CEO
