The announcement of the 2015 CPS breeds Hog College boar and gilts. An elite set of boars and gilts will represent the CPS breeds on Hog College Row in Austin, Minnesota for the 2015 National Barrow Show. This list includes:

Chester White boar- bred and owned by Brice Conover of Baxter, Iowa. Registration number 147348001. Sired by RS3 Thunder 9-2 X TABB2 Bonecrusher 84-5.

Chester White gilt-bred and owned by Neil Albertson of Fremont, Iowa. Registration number 14717004. Sired by MDI 3 Knot Much 10-8 X LEC9 The Rooster 10-1.

Poland China boar- bred and owned by Tucker Polands of New London, Iowa. Registration number 45874003. A stress negative son of 3 Lightning Strike 1-6 X GMB2 Done Deal 6-3.

Poland China gilt- bred and owned by Brandon Stickler of Pleasant Plains, Illinois. Registration number 45983001. A stress negative daughter of JRX2 PSSS Like NO Other 3-4 X TPH3 BPG Perfect Storm 2-5.

Spotted boar- Bred and owned by Triggs Spots of Mt. Ayr, Iowa. Registration number 158081007. A stress negative son of DMD13 Waiting Game 8-1 X 3 Speed Dial 1-2.

Spotted gilt- Bred and owned by Keegan and Kendall Brewer/Grandpa Jerry Reid-of Sweet Springs, Missouri. Registration number 157941007. A stress negative daughter of 4 triple Threat 9-5 X LEVI 1 Wrangler 27-2.

I truly believe we had more excellent candidates in 2015 as we ever have and believe these 6 individuals will be great representatives of your breed of choice in Austin, Minnesota on September 13-16, 2015.
