Yes Mikie, I,agree very little traffic out there. Don't know if you can relate to this time frame. My grandparents settled in the Point built their first house on Thiriot Ave behind the original Holy Cross Nuns House. They closed on the house in 1929 the day before the Stock Market crash. Years later they built a second house at 426 Thieriot where I lived from 1941 until 1964 when I got married. All my Aunts & Uncles lived in the Point. We were related to the Sicilians.
