Eddie from Eddie & JoBo fame let go

"Hey, anyone who might’ve currently been listening to me on The967, today was my last day with the company, and I am another unfortunate casualty of the radio industry."

Fu***** dumpster fire man. Dude was not making that much to break the bank and he was def going above and beyond what was expected for a Class A stick AM drive show. Do they really need the money that bad, to keep buying up sticks and kissing the FCC's red rear end to allow them to own every stick in the market and be a monopoly?

Eddie is a class act. It's sad, because the elders that can lead this crap industry back to prosperity are being shown the door.

I liked Eddie’s show. Energy, talent, personality on a fresher sounding format, what a dumb move to show him the door. Nobody is going to fill that slot and do a better job. He was the only reason I would ever tune in The 9-6-7.

You can’t say Connoisseur Media without saying “sewer”.

Thanks for the link. So, basically, their dream had to come to terms with reality. Or, maybe this was the one-year plan all along.

Or, maybe this was the one-year plan all along.

Or it was all posturing and BS to appeal for entities to make it happen. The article sickened me to read it. Corporate BS at its finest. Lopping off people so they can keep purchasing other stations and shutting down small and medium market stations leaving towns not served by any signals. Beautiful.

They are massively leaning on the FCC to allow them to have several more stations per current market caps. This administration is receptive so far. Expect to see more of it in all markets and Cumulus get into the game too. Need to BKP even bigger and better each time! Feed the pig! 💲🐷💲

John, there is probably no one there to scrub it, they hire someone externally to do it, they are overloaded. Or, they own the pictures and 0 💩 given.
