20 years ago today, Lisa Fielding made her debut at WBBM Newsradio 780 AM/105.9 FM. As the veteran News anchor/reporter celebrates her 20th Anniversary at the Audacy-owned news station, Barrett Media provides quite a profile.

Fielding is co-anchor of WBBM's afternoon news and cracked Barrett's list of the Top 20 News/Talk Radio Major Market Afternoon Show category.

Needless to say, Fielding has been front & center reporting on some of the biggest news during her 2 decades at WBBM, including the Cubs winning the 2016 World Series. She also worked in television for 15 years before shifting to the radio side.

It's not just reporting on the biggest news. Fielding also discussed how her reporting can make a difference in people's lives. She also recalled the time she reported on a burger restaurant and hearing the sound of the meat sizzling.

And in 2003, Ms. Fielding was on 18-WVTV Milwaukee's 9 PM newscast, which I remember ...

Newscasts returned to the station in August 2003 with the launch of WB18 News at 9, an hour-long program which featured a mix of local news stories from staff at WVTV's facility (anchored by Lisa Fielding on weeknights, and Tami Hughes on weekends)

Well, Lisa Fielding grew up in this area as the Barrett Media article reported. I think it’s safe to say her nose for news started long before she made a career, both in TV & now in radio for the last 2 decades.
