I can't seem to "connect" with the folks at METV-FM do I'm putting the question out here.
For the past couple of years, the station broadcast "Wink Martindale's Top 100 Christmas songs" on December 24-25. Very nice combination of popular and obscure holiday hits from the past 8 decades. Now that Wink has passed on, I am curious as to whether someone else is going to take over.
Their social media updates and customer service died when Rick O'Dell left and Phil Manicki took over. Their "Jeff The Sales Guy" might know: jsmaluk@metv.fm

Sadly, this happens when you run an operation on a shoestring budget and you pay a kings ransom to "lease" a signal that is still not even a real FM signal. No matter what they are billing there, is not enough. You can easily get their programming & no customer service via an online stream minus the commercials. YouTube anyone? I digress.
To ChiTownGal's post, I agree, the Wink program was a welcomed offering on Christmas. The show can go on, reusing old segments and shows. It can easily be run for some years, but let's be honest. At what age do listeners (that even listen to radio anymore) know who Wink is? 45? 50? Are actually interested in Xmas tunes from 8 decades ago? The shelf life is limited for consumption.
Don't agree w/ me and need proof on my statements above? Speaking to a 28 year old, he had NO clue, ZERO, who Rob Reiner was. 🤷🏻♂️ Time moves on.
Off the top of my head, I remember 2 stations besides the MeTv commercials added jukebox. You can contact these 2 stations below they have aired it in the past. The Van is in Holland and KWXY is in Palm Springs.
"Starting at 8am Christmas Eve morning Wednesday, it's the 100 Greatest Christmas Hits of All Time as hosted by Wink Martindale, running through Christmas Day."
(I accidentally erased the original subject line so I made my own)
