Makes me wonder if morning anchor Terrell Brown & Chief Meteorologist Cheryl Scott might have a dance number as part of the national broadcast come New Year’s Eve on ABC.
If you’ve watched “Countdown Chicago” over the last few years when ABC 7 actually interrupted “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” in the 11P (CT) hour, Brown & Scott have started the show with a dance number.
A far cry from the “kiss” Mark Giangreco & Janet Davies did years ago before ABC 7 sent them packing for good.
Seems hard to believe that Dick Clark started “Rockin’ Eve” in 1972, but Seacrest has been host since before the host/producer passed away. I think that was 2012 when Dick went to that TV studio in the sky, but his production company continues to produce hours of TV to this day.
