Of course nothing is happening legally with the commission being shut down, but any rumblings on if anything at all is going on with 1300? It would be a real surprise if it didn't just get cancelled eventually.

I have heard nothing while up and down I-294 on 1300 kHz. I recall that the antenna drawing submitted was extremely crude, both artistically and technologically, but even with an SWR of like 4:1 I assume I would have heard something if they lit it up.
Z and I did get a good chuckle out of that STA app…

Every time I check, it is not on air. End of day, I believe it will sell in the clearance bin or the permit will be turned in to the FCC.
SWR of 4:1? You are being generous Phil. More North of 14:1. The STA map is on my wall reminding me "What not to do for antennas 101, even if experimenting" which that app was *not* it was submitted for real! All joking aside, I believe the engineer submitted that just to kick the can down the road. I have to think that is it.
