"Nonstop Christmas Music Returns To 93.9 LITE FM Tuesday, Later Than In Recent Years"

This year, 93.9 FM is starting its all-holiday format at 3 p.m. Tuesday, coinciding with a contest to win a trip to Las Vegas to see Mariah Carey.

Almost 2 months of Holly musical cheer.

Ugh @ Mariah. Lol. Ironically, her famous Christmas song is one of her better tunes. Never been a big fan of her. 🤷🏻‍♂️ (Sorry Eric Bradley!)

Holiday music should wait until after the first week of December. It’s too soon.

My neighbors are already putting up Christmas decorations.

I wait for the first day it dips in the twenties or teens to hang the lights.

I was reading a while back that when someone who worked at the radio station in either management or sales saw snowflakes outside 93.9 WLIT-FM’s downtown offices & studios, it was their cue to air 24/7 holiday music. Seriously.

Kinda sad that WLIT can get massive ratings for two months for so called " Christmas " music, but WCKL ( K Live), WAWE (Air One) WYCA and WGRB ( INSPIRATION 1300) combined might only get1/3 of the Liters ratings in one good month.
