Have your pencils & scorecards ready. The inductees for the 2025 Radio Hall of Fame have been announced. Once again, 97.1 FM The Drive's midday host Bob Stroud misses the cut, but his evening teammate got the "Call to the Hall".
Alice Cooper, whose syndicated "Alice's Attic" radio show airs weeknights 7P-Midnight (CT) on The Drive, is among 10 new inductees. Three other familiar names, former MTV VJ Martha Quinn, FOX Sports Radio/FS1 host of "The Herd" Colin Cowherd & NPR's Scott Simon, are also on the HOF list for 2025.
These are the other names that'll be going into the Radio Hall of Fame:
Tom Carballo Host, "Mojo in the Morning"-WKQI-FM Detroit DeDe McGuire Host, "DeDe in The Morning" Mike McVay McVay Media Bob Lacey and Sheri Lynch "Bob & Sheri" Shelley "Playboy" Stewart Julie Talbott Premiere Networks
Six inductees were determined by a voting panel of over 900 industry professionals & four others were voted by the 2025 Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee.
This year's inductees will officially be honored at the in-person Radio Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony October 30 at the Swissotel Chicago.

Out of all that, what matters most, "DeDe" is formerly Chicago talent (Doug Banks show). Also I am pretty sure Tom Carballo was an intern @ B96 around 1990 for George McFly. Whether he was or not, he is a huge legend in modern Detroit radio.
