Former WMVP (Historic WCFL) transmitter site in Downers Grove

The old WCFL transmitter site has reached the end. Can't look at the building without hearing that jingle in my head.

I forgot to post, I drove by last night and it was eerie with the tower lights off. Rolling down 88, can't see the beacons anymore!

Lot of memories ending up in that rubble. The original CFL was not in there, but it was used after, I believe when Amway bought them or when they were Christian AC.

Drove by the site last night and took this picture. WMVP has been broadcasting from the WCPT site in Joliet for few months now.

WLS tv channel 7 on 4 p.m. news showed the towers coming down. Tried to get link but could not.
