670 AM The SCORE is already the radio home of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, DePaul Men's Basketball, the Chicago Marathon as well as the local home for Westwood One Sports' NFL broadcasts. Just 2 days before the WNBA tips off its new season, the Audacy-owned sports radio station added Chicago's WNBA team to its play by play portfolio.
WSCR will air 7 Sky broadcasts starting with the May 22nd game vs the WNBA Champion New York Liberty at 6:45P (CT). The games will be called by Big Ten Network's Kylen Mills with The SCORE's own Leila Rahimi as the analyst & Alyssa Bergamini handling pre, halftime & postgame. These games will also be available on the Audacy app.
The Sky will air 30 games locally on WCIU 26 The U. Sky games will also air nationally via the league's broadcast partners ABC, ESPN, ION (WCPX 38), CBS, CBS Sports Network & NBA TV.

I'm old enough to recall when The Score was a sports talk station that always made fun of the other stations whose hosts had to pull their punches since they were "beholden to the rights holders". The Score - talk = MTV - music videos.
I too, remember that quote from Jiggetts & North over & over, and also, I wonder, if the audience, on FM, streaming already, will/would come back to AM. (Much respect to Mssrs, Jiggetts & North.)
Really, all I've ever heard is "homers" doing games, talk, etc..... Thus, don't listen at all.
The last time I heard anything of interest was Jimmy Piersol & Harry Caray on a Sox broadcast calling out a horrible team. (The tape is here somewhere...)
