Was unfamiliar with this magazine. Lots of old names.

I downloaded this one recently, along with a bunch more. That's an amazing site. It's David Gleasons' creation (DavidEduardo of the RadioDiscussions website).

The beginning of the end for WMET! I'm not sure what seems like a quicker blink of an eye format: The "noise is gone" MET, or WRXR! I had a mechanical drawing/small engines teacher in junior high that played WRXR during class. That might be the highlight of my school years!

This was great and I think I have several issues in my attic - I'll look to see how many I have and what their publication dates are.

I liked WRXR at the time. I recall when the format morphing began to take place while the callsign was still WMET, with liners like “Chicago’s *Class* FM, 95.5 WMET” (heavy emphasis on the word “class”). A couple weeks later it was All-Time Rock N Roll WRXR.

Issue #1 - May 1985

(Wally Phillips on the cover)
Issue #3 - July 1985
(Bob Wall & Harold Rush on cover)

Are there more, or did it end after 3?
