I was not familiar with his work, but the headline caught my eye: "City Council honors late Polish radio, TV personality Krzysztof Arsenowicz"
The Chicago City Council honored late Northwest Sider, actor and Polish radio and TV host Krzysztof Arsenowicz with a resolution in February.
Arsenowicz, age 70, died on Feb. 14 of this year. He was known to many in the Polish community, most notably for his work for the Polvision television station and on Polish radio 1030 AM during a career that span more than 20 years.
I think of Sig Sakowicz first, when Polish radio is mentioned. I know he did a lot more than that, though. His son, Greg, is rector of Holy Name Cathedral and appears regularly on Catholic radio.
