Old enough to remember Walter Jacobson's "Perspective" dating back to when he was the principal newsman on FOX 32 as well as CBS 2 back in the day.
Back on CBS 2, those newscasts originated from a true newsroom at CBS 2's iconic home at 630 N. McClurg Court and Jacobson's "Perspectives" were as much a part of the newscast he & Bill Kurtis co-anchored as John Coughlin's ever changing weather forecast & Johnny Morris' sportscasts. It was when CBS 2's 10P newscast was billed as "THETEN O'CLOCK NEWS".
One other thing that will never be duplicated ever again. The end of an era.
