670 AM The SCORE may be branded as "Chicago's Sports Station" in addition to being the flagship of Chicago Cubs baseball & Chicago Bulls basketball, but the station's parent company Audacy is also a partner in what's called the BetQL Network. A sports wagering network that signed on in 2021 following Audacy's acquisition of QL Gaming in late 2020.
I bring this up because BetQL signed a deal in 2022 with BetMGM to serve as the network's official sportsbook across all Audacy-owned platforms. On weeknights when there's no Cubs or Bulls play-by-play, The SCORE taps into the BetQL Network for "BetMGM Tonight" weeknights @ 9P (CT).
Now, BetQL has rebranded as the BetMGM Network as part of an expanded partnership between the media giant & the sportsbook. The new deal comes as the 2 brands prepare for Sunday's Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
