Coinciding with a Front Office Sports story of a contract extension that'll keep him on FS1 for many years to come, Colin Cowherd is also relocating his long running daily sports talk show to Chicago, too.
On his latest episode of his podcast, Cowherd revealed that "The Herd" will relocate from the FOX Sports Studios in Los Angeles to the Big Ten Network Studios in Chicago's River North neighborhood. FOX happens to be a majority owner & operating partner of the 24/7 college sports network with the Big Ten Conference.
Cowherd first teased the move about 6 months ago, but also mentioned that his wife Ann is an interior designer. They maintain an apartment here & moving here would also allow Colin to be closer to family.
Cowherd reportedly told his FOX Sports bosses last year of his intentions to move. A date hasn't been announced, but Cowherd said the move would occur sometime this spring.
"The Herd with Colin Cowherd" airs weekdays 11A-2P (CT) on FS1, FOX Sports Radio & the iHeart Media app. Jason McIntyre serves as Cowherd's co-host.
