With no Cubs & Sky play-by-play for the next several months, Marquee Sports Network started something a little different to fill voids in the schedule. Marquee started its "Community Showcase" in September by showcasing a different high school football game, produced by one of the participating schools & featuring student talent calling the games.
Now, Marquee shifts from the gridiron to the hardwood & the ice to continue its "Community Showcase" of student-produced high school sports every week.
It'll start tonight when Iowa State & Illinois clash in an American Collegiate Hockey Association matchup in hockey at 7P (CT). Marquee will air 9 such games involving local club teams with the University of Illinois, DePaul University & Indiana University.
Marquee will also present 3 Scholastic Hockey League, 5 Chicago Wolves' Local Hockey Showcase at Allstate Arena & 9 IHSA Boys & Girls' High School Basketball games as part of the "Showcase" .
