102.3 FM RDS "WCKG.Com" & "Home of the Bears" + Dead air on both WCKG-AM and 102.3 FM?

102.3 FM and 1530 AM were dead air all afternoon. But giving legal ID every 10 minutes. The RDS on 102.3 shows

"Home of the Bears"

What gives?

Last night @ 10PM, dead carrier. I think it Is an issue with his feed or link to the transmitter.

I am at the tail end of the coverage area. No RDS by me. Matt is a character, he has a sense of humor. Probably a chuckle in there somewhere. It has been reported on here, that he "plays" with the RDS occasionally relaying messages.

I believe it. Hey, it's his station. I used to be in Hickory Hills, off 294/95th St. The Toll road changed a lot, since that 102.3 went on the air. Those two towers (between 290, 88) are gone. I'm now in Willowbrook. I get 1530 better here, but 102.3 needs the antennae.

I'm happy that FSR is back on 1530/102.3 (you can't rely on two, phony Christians all the time, for programming). If only Matt had let 1530 continue with the previous, comedy/local talk format, with old standards...they wouldn't be in this mess. Hope to God that Q-101 waste does not return.
