It is Bye Bye Greg BeHarrell I guess. Now they are going to track this chick in from Atlanta. No idea who she is, but Beharrell at least had some mildly funny breaks.

Q101 drops Greg. Like the next day 95.9 The River picks him up. Strange!

Lyndsey was on WLUP 2014-2018, and until recently WLS-FM, it sounded jockless last night on 94.7.

At least as far as social media goes, the reaction is extremely positive for 101.1.

I never had any opinions on Greg, I just know a lot of 101.1's listeners were vocally not fans and they expressed it on social media a lot. I don't know if that matters or not.

As far as The River, Alpha seemingly runs Greg on many of their Rock, Alternative, and even their AAA station, so that makes sense for them either way.

Alpha is turning into the sanctuary for all the big stick people being displaced.

I wouldn't say that anymore even though it was for a time. Alpha is emptying out a lot of their stations as of recent. Smaller markets going to Westwood One programming.

Here they pretty much shut down WXLC. Nothing originates from there anymore. It's simulcasting WCCQ. WZSR and WSSR share a music log, and all local airstaff except for Middays and some weekend shifts.

WERV's PD, and some of their air talent is based at another company's station in Salt Lake City.

Tim Richards and Drew alone are 2 big names that have eventually moved from a big stick company (not only in Chicago) to Alpha. It had to have been hell or the writing was on the wall for Drew to leave Audacy after all those years.
