Everyone, this is a great clip. How to produce a contest winner. It starts 10:30 into the clip (but the whole thing is worth watching). Broadway Bill Lee on WQHT New York, Hot 97. Donna the winner is a train wreck, but he ran with it, well.

This was when radio was still alive. Lot of people felt CHR and Top40 was dead. It really was not, the musical landscape shifted and there was room for many variants of Top40 in most markets.

Bill Lee is still on fire. He does nights on WCBS-FM in NYC, the Classic Hits station.

Never heard it before. The music is great. He was great. Same Greg Thunder from Z95?

Same Greg Thunder from "Hot 94-7". He was on shortly before they pulled the plug on it. Does Country radio these days.
