Last century question: what was the Chicago Radio Guide?

While looking up old radio news I found this mention, what are they talking about?

Chicago Tribune July 25, 1985

— The Chicago Radio Guide is in trouble. Cofounder and financial backer Stephen Muka died of a lingering illness recently and his brother, Chris Muka, says the company can no longer survive while losing $35,000 each monthly issue. Accordingly, Chris is going to ask local stations to pay a small fee for being listed in the guide, which has a circulation of approximately 25,000.

I think I have a few copies of Chicago Radio Guide. It was a SLICK monthly local magazine. It was there and it was then gone. Interviews. Some Geek stats like local radio stations listings. I have to dig them up see if I still have them! It was mid decade, so it has to be this one. I will try to see if I still have them laying around.

Radio Chicago! The one I do have! I am pretty sure I have the Clark and Murph editions. Thanks Jeremy!
