I truly respect WXRT and as a subscriber to their weekly emails, the latest was an interesting one.
Listeners are invited to pick up to five songs which I believe the station will play if that listener's selections are used.
Here's my question; WXRT is not a radio playground which means they can't stray too far from their format. Beside new music, which is slated to be played by the station itself, does the listener submitting a list of songs have to follow the preapproved playlist?
I notice and appreciate their Saturday Morning Flashback feature opens up the playlist to include more variety and lesser heard songs.
