I'm surprised this hasn't already been posted, but Friday, the Trib published a deep dive into the culture of Chicago radio and what it's been like for women to work in it. |
Reporters talked to a number of women, including Kathy Hart, Mary Dixon, Lisa Dent, Julie DiCaro, Trish Biondo and even Wendy Rice, who spoke of Greg Solk taking away programming of the show she had created and hosted for nearly 30 years ("Saturday Morning Flashback").

Besides Hubbard's disaster at WTMX, there are other stories involving Solk (who is also defended by Kathy Voltmer and Terri Hemmert), Jimmy De Castro and WSCR.
