Hey Z, saw your post about 97.5, it'd be nice if they kept it and expanded it, if they don't need to worry about sales (commercials) that'd be the place to do it that's for sure. They'd get a few good years out of it and grow it so it doesn't age out. It was nice to see your kind words about what The Beat, thanks! There's always great, deep thinking intelligent posts from you, Jeremy, Sal Vitro and a few others. I get a chance to check in once in a while, it's good to see there's still life left in some people when it comes to the industry formerly known as radio. |
Between Digital Saviors, working on various shows and in the middle of selling two shows to two production companies, it's been hectic but always fun to come back to the hobby.
All the best to you, all you in radio, it ain't easy takin' orders from people of lesser minds so my hat's off to you all.
It's a classic R&B/Blue-Eyed soul format all week long, similar to what WBMX sounded like back in the day with V103 type R&B of the 90s spiked in. Going after them would be a smart move for anyone in this market but I digress.
The weekends are still balls to the wall dance music
Starting at 7PM CT, the Retro Dance Classics Weekend kicks off on The Beat Chicago
The Friday edition is 80s, 90s and 2K club classics
The Saturday edition is our Back To 'BMX night with the Saturday Night Live Ain't No Jive Chicago Dance Party. Mixes, old school and more, like we did back in the day
NO APP REQUIRED. Listen live and see what's playing anytime at https://thebeatchicago.com/listen-to-the-beat-chicago/
