Rescan your TV: over 90 Over the air Channels

I did rescan and just added KPDS-LD 49 (Physical 9) Wolcott IN

Owned by HC2 Holdings 49.1 Azteca (same as 24.1), 49.2, 49.3, 49.4 and 49.5 Infomercial. and 49.6 Blank(mode not supported)

Jfb, as I have been saying, there is 0 initiative for the owner of WRME-LP to build out a DTV platform. Most of these are useless and will keep being useless unless they start leasing out whole signals to ethnic entities or start producing niche programming. Everyone including content providers just want to "plug n play" these days and wish for big returns. I know it costs to produce content, but if you want people to actually tune in and you get big returns..... "

Not sure the purpose of this new KPDS LD. It looks like it’s transmitting from a small tower near Indiana 2 and I 65 near Lowell. The signal is strongest in farmland and on the northern edges of their signal WPVN can be picked fairly easily already.

I get KPDS-LD pretty well south of Chicago in eastern Will County. It seems like it’s positioned to be the NW Indiana coverage complement for WPVN-CD. Other than Timeless TV on 49.5, I can’t see anyone intentionally watching any of the other 49.x subchannels.

KPDS-LD is coming in now 2 of 10 signal strength on my TV Niles IL. I am enclosing a link to a blog which details HC2's of programing which includes the Magnificent Movies Network (now airing a Bob Hope movie) on 49.4. Timeless TV is also on 24.7

Only 2 of the KPDS-LD subchannels have 24h of infomercials now, which is nice. When it first signed on 49.1 through 49.4 were solid informercials. There's still no data being sent for 49.6.

This morning I was picking up PSIP from WISH and WNDY Indianapolis (8.x and 23.x, respectively) not strong enough to get video but enough to walk all over KPDS-LD. WISH/WNDY are also on RF channel 9. The two signals are far enough apart under normal conditions I supposed, but any tropo enhancement will turn that into a mess.
