Heard there's a new rock 95.5 commercial. Has anyone seen it, or have a link to it?

This is a natural move. They had to do it. Besides TV which is less effective, billboards and social media along with cross promoting their brand on other outlets is important. There are a lot of people that still do not know this exists. They need to have people tune in AND like what they hear to make it a preset or bookmarked on the app. If people tune in and don't come back, it is lights out for this format, as there is not much more they can do.

Country you can sell even with lower numbers. This format is not going to be kept on life support because there is no Bobby Bones. Also they are sharing a lot more audience with other stations compared to what BIG was sharing.

Whomever is programming this station is clueless when it comes to the rock audience. With this format, they will not tune in to hear the same 25 songs over and over and over again.
