Yes since the 70s.

I do not even remember Z95 when B96 was pummeling them in ratings were this low.

Yes it is a Christmas skewed rating period, but KISS is even, B96 is down. I do not think the Christmas numbers figure in much. You have 2 CHRs KISS @ 2.5 and B96 @ 1.6 battling it out with the MIX sharing audience. KISS or B need to blink and move on.

I do not have much confidence that Entercom can flip B96 to something the market is lacking.

Next month will be a better indicator, but it might be time to blow up B96. Urban and top 40 are clearly not doing well. Should be interesting to see if WKQX and WCHI rebound at all next month.

Keep in mind, this is a Holiday book. Aside from WLIT, most stations drop. Happens every year.

Big difference is the numbers since the pandemic are lower.

Jeremy, the Christmas numbers are not that big an influence on a station already at a 2 share. 2 share or 1.6 the station is on life support, under performing for a long time.

I honestly don’t think it has anything to do with the music or quality.

I think the average Top 40/Pop/Hip Hop listener does not use an FM radio as their main source for music.

Spotify, Pandora, YouTube & other streaming services is where it’s at.

Depending on the market, the Top40 approach and if it is heritage or not, it can still appeal 18 - 34 or 25 - 45. As they are not selling 6 - 17 numbers.

YouTube is the #1 go to for music between youth. #2 is trading between each other on social media and private chat channels.

To all these stations its about CUME, not TSL. TSL is good only for network sales inventory!

Rob, B96 CUME is gone, their TSL isn't there (expected) and their numbers have shriveled. You are hard pressed to win any demo @ 1.6, 6+!

It is time for Todd, Eric or someone over there and take the reins. You can't blame it all on Covid. The problems were there long before the virus. You also have competition with a jock when B96 is running off an ipod at night.

Where did Big 95-5 listeners go? There is a two share missing from country radio.’the music is to young. How can a 2 share of country just vanish? Sampling issue? Or is it just that bad. If you look at Entercom country they are all way down. Not a good product with the crap “Entercom syndication”.

WXRT continues it's decent into the abyss.
Clocking in at 2.6 with it's morning show and midday show out of the top ten. Meanwhile, WRME, hot on their heels, with a 2.4. Their morning show (with no DJ) in the top ten, and the midday show (also no DJ) in the top ten.
