Large corporations pander to the current perceived trends of society as they see it. They don't care about what is right or productive, as long as the rabble thinks they're in it too.
I think he means they lean left.

If anyone hasn't noticed FOX32 has been super-serving African Americans on their newscasts for years. This is nothing new. That is why iHeart has started the African American news network. If money can be made, they will do it.

Has nothing to do with "left". Actually John Spartan just didn't have the guts to say Phoenix.
