Baseball is back!

The crowd noises pumped in, bull horns, pipe organs, ooohs & aaahs, honestly sounded good!
Baseball is back! Summer is here! I've missed it, usually hearing the first broadcasts in late February.

WSCR seemed BEST with crowds (as they were louder) and WGN (Sox) and WTMJ (Brewers had lower, more subdued "crowd noise.")

Was listening and caught myself saying "there's no fans there" proving truly, that radio is a theater of the mind!

All broadcasts teams and engineering did quite well! Thanks for the escape from the days news stories! Kudos to all involved!

NO sound for the WhiteSox

I'm watching the White Sox on Comcast and there is no audio for the game, just the commercials, anyone else having this problem? Thank goodness that Comcast came up with a last minute deal with the Marquee network and we were able to watch and hear the Cubs win!

Why are the networks adding fake crowd noise and even fake spectators at certain camera angles. Can’t it just be aired naturally as is? People know spectators aren’t allowed now. PGA Tour broadcasts don’t have fake clapping when putts are made or when players are introduced on the 1st tee.

Before there were ever seats being sold on the rooftops, and fans got up there to watch for free, it was Harry Caray that would get such a kick out of the fans that were there...today, you’d be a chump to be there....

I think it's ridiculous what people are paying for the seats across the street from the Cubs games, and I will not give Comcast any money for the Marquee network, Hopefully they will say you have to pay so much to keep it, and I will say...KEEP IT! Again no sound for the White Sox game today, and it will probably be the same for tomorrow. I went on my computer to try and listen from there, and that wasn't working, what a joke. I called NBC Sports, which is Comcast, and the voicemail box was full, what a disgusting bunch of crap.

I sent them an email yesterday about the problem, and the audio is back, finally! I don't know if that did it, but we're happy we can hear them again.
