Looks like more layoffs coming because of low listenership. Ship is sinking. NPR CEO says they're making more money from podcasts than regular radio.Collapse

Radio is in the toilet right now, because advertising is in the toilet right now, because the economy is in the toilet right now. Notice a pattern here? Personally I think the worst is yet to come. I'm waiting to see what the world will be like after the $600 weekly unemployment stimulus ends on July 25th.

The OP's right, which is not good. I love the small, mom and pop AM (and) FM's. Not much over the last 5-10 years to choose from. What will it be like within the next 5 years?
