I noticed that today. It looks like 1530's evolving the format, from sports to sports betting. Did anyone notice they brought back the jingles and the local news updates? That was actually nice. |
The only bad thing is no more Rich Eisen, my favorite of the FSR personalities. FSR is better than ESPN because: 1. Rants about dumb things (and teams) are rare, 2. They actually have in-depth interviews, 3. Intelligent discussions, 4. Actual comedy, 5. Personality-driven, 6. Not in your face, 7. Less political (ESPN lost a lot of viewers because of their political tangents).
Hey, 1530's been a fun one to watch for years (sure beats the other stations and the big, boring sticks). Once they got rid of that Q-101 crap (and the yes, the various formats) in fall 2017, I was won back over. It's just a matter of "time will tell," but the sports format has already outlasted everything tried since 2013.
