If you tune into ESPN/ABC's coverage of College Football, she's the lead sideline reporter for the games called by Chris Fowler & Kirk Herbstreit during the fall. She's also the third face you see on the networks' coverage of Women's College Basketball as well as the WNBA. Fans of the Utah Jazz can also see her face as their sideline reporter.

She is Holly Rowe. This weekend, she'll be in her familiar place at courtside for ESPN/ABC's broadcast of the WNBA All-Star Game at United Center Saturday night. She'll be on the sidelines while Ryan "You Bet!" Ruocco calls the game with Rebecca Lobo. The three of them also call ESPN/ABC's coverage of Women's College Basketball capped off by the NCAA Women's Championship Game.

As the WNBA celebrates its 30th season, Rowe discusses a great deal about her career with Agrest. She discusses her vast preparation, work ethic and the trust she's earned along the way.

Rowe was also pressed into service last Sunday as an impromptu analyst for ABC's broadcast of the Los Angeles Sparks/Dallas Wings' WNBA matchup with...John Schriffen?! That's because flight cancellations out East prevented Ruocco and Lobo from making the flight from New York to Dallas for Sunday's game, forcing ESPN to make impromptu broadcast changes.

Schriffen was conspicously absent from last weekend's White Sox/Blue Jays' series in Toronto. Schriffen was on NBA Summer League duty in Las Vegas for the network and coincidentally was in Dallas to call the Sox series vs the Rangers in Arlington, TX.

Rowe discussed that experience as an impromptu analyst, plus comments from WNBA on ESPN coordinating producer Rodney Vaughn & Lobo on what Rowe REALLY brings to a broadcast. You can find out more by linking here...And hopefully without any paywall trouble:
