If you tune into 97.1 The Drive come 7P (CT) weeknights, you won't be entering "Alice's Attic with Alice Cooper" anymore. Instead, you'll be hearing a new voice from 7P-Midnight evenings spinning "Chicago's Classic Rock".

Her name is Lauren Elwell, better known as "Lern" to Classic Rock fans on The Drive's legendary sister station in the Hubbard Radio family, KSHE 95 in St. Louis. Elwell has been a fixture on KSHE dating back to 2008. The same KSHE that also employs The Drive's veteran afternoon host Tim Virgin.

There is a difference between Virgin & Elwell. While Virgin's show airs in afternoons on BOTH KSHE & The Drive, separated by just 1 hour, Elwell will be heard in different time slots on the 2 stations.

"Lern" as she's affectionately known will still be heard middays 10A-2P (CT) on KSHE in St.Louis. At The Drive, her voice will be heard in the time slot most recently occupied by Cooper, who is currently on a European tour. That will be 7P-Midnight (CT) Monday through Friday.
