She's conspicuously absent from the Cubs/Rockies' series in Denver this week. She won't be in San Francisco either when the Cubs & Giants rematch this weekend. That's because Taylor McGregor's national stock continues to rise.

McGregor will be part of the ESPN crew working the 2026 College World Series starting in Omaha tomorrow afternoon and through June 22.

McGregor will be the dugout reporter at Charles Schwab Field for the daytime sessions of the College World Series, while Mike Monaco, Eduardo Perez & Ben McDonald call the Troy/West Virginia game at 1P (CT) Friday afternoon. This crew will also work the 2P (CT) game Saturday afternoon between Oklahoma & Alabama. BOTH of these games will air on ESPN.
